Àshàbí means "Specially selected to be born or created" in Yorùbá, a language spoken in the southern part of Nigeria, West Africa. Our 8 piece African waist beads are handmade with multiple colors seed beads and elastic string so they are easy to put on or take off. You also have the option to select your colors; hence the name "Àshàbí". Our 8 piece set is available in sizes XS, S, M/L, XL, XL+, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL and 5XL. Please refer to the sizing chart below to ensure you order the correct size for your waistline.
NOTE: These waist beads are made with elastic string which makes it easy to slip in and out of them. Elastic waist beads are perfect for weight loss tracking when all 8 are worn together. However, tie-on waist beads are more effective, checkout our non-elastic, tie-on Ghana waist beads here.
COLOR: Available in our default colors as seen on the model and product photos. However, you may chose your colors and include your color preferences as notes in the "Special instructions for seller" section on the next page (i.e. after you add to cart). We have the following colors available; black, yellow, silver, green, blue, red, hot pink, turquoise/gold mix, afro-color mix, light blue/gold mix, and gold. (Note: the model is wearing 2 sets)
