Would have to be tied unto your waist and won't come off unless you cut them with a pair of scissors. Comes standard in random colors. However, you may include your color preferences in the "Special instructions to the seller" box on the next page (i.e after you add to cart).
The wearing of beads on the waist was made popular by West Africans, specifically Nigerians. This practice is an excellent tool to feel more feminine and beautiful. Waist beads are also used to maintain your weight as the beads go up your waist when you gain weight and falls elegantly on your hips when you loose weight.

FAQ: Why does the waist beads have loose ends? Traditional waist beads are designed with loose ends to give you the flexibility of tying the beads exactly where you want them to rest i.e. high-waist, mid-waist or low-waist. You can also create a multi layer look with this option. Being that we add an extra inch to the size you order, the loose ends allow you to slide off any unwanted beads before you tie them.
